A Century of Terroir, Distilled|BODEGAS CORAL DUERO

A century of patience · Distilled into a single drop of profound character

Beneath the rocky soils of Spain's Toro DO lies a story of resilience and devotion. In 2003, founder Jesus Fernandez established Bodegas Coral Duero with one uncompromising pursuit: to craft truly world-class wines.

More than the birth of a winery, this is a tribute to the living antiques of this land — the rare, precious 130-year-old vines.

A Miracle Beyond Catastrophe

Our most treasured legacy is a handful of ancient vines that survived the devastating Phylloxera epidemic of the 19th century — a plague that wiped out most of Europe's vineyards. Toro's sandy, arid soils proved a natural barrier, allowing these ungrafted vines to root deeply into the earth and draw the purest of nutrients.

"Nature is the soul of wine." This is our philosophy. As sunlight and rain transform through the leaves into life, the true taste of the land flows forth. We believe wines from old vines are far more than alcohol — they are a precious gift of time, soul, and emotion.

A Symphony of Single Vineyards

To showcase the full spectrum of Toro's terroir, we lovingly tend four distinct single vineyards, each with its own character — and from them, we craft four signature wines:

Las Parvas Single Vineyard
Rompesedas Single Vineyard
Salgadero Single Vineyard
Los Lastros Single Vineyard

In addition, we proudly offer R'Sedas, a second label crafted from younger vines — an expression of Toro's vibrant, multifaceted personality.

Recognized at the Pinnacle of the Wine World

Bodegas Coral Duero stunned the wine world from its very first vintage. The inaugural release — harvested in 2005, launched in 2008 — claimed Gold at the IWSA International Wine & Spirit Awards and earned a remarkable 93-point score from legendary critic Robert Parker.

"An outstanding score for a brilliant wine."

— Robert Parker

This recognition affirms our unwavering commitment to setting the benchmark for premium fine wine.
